Paul E. Davis

2022 Inductee

Paul E. Davis was born on July 30, 1960 in Huntington and is the son of Ernie Ray Davis and Donna Cremeans Davis. He is married to Sandra McReynolds Davis and has two children, Garrett Ray Davis and Tyler Paul Davis.

Davis graduated from Huntington East High School in 1979, Marshall University 2004 and earned his MBA in 2009.

He is the past president of the Kiwanis Club of Huntington, Rotary Club of Huntington, Scottish Rite Foundation and Goodwill Industries of KYOVA, as well as being a past master of Apperson Masonic Lodge and a past high priest of Royal Arch Masonry.

Davis has been employed at Tri-State Transit Authority since July 1988. In 1997 he was named Transit Employee of the Year by West Virginia Division of Public Transportation. He was promoted to general manager of Tri-State Transit in 2006 and promoted to CEO/general manager in May 2009. In 2012, he was named West Virginia Transit Manager of the Year at the Annual West Virginia Transit Awards Conference.

He is committed to the growth of Huntington and was integral in the development of the Pullman Square. Davis enjoys camping, classic cars and spending time with his family.
